About
About.
Developer. Problem solver. Builder.
I'm Jon Robertson. I've spent years turning complex ideas into working systems, from automation and AI agents to full-scale web applications.
These days I'm building NUYU Network and Fulcrum Pictures, and I build commerce and automation platforms for clients. On the side I build the tools I wish existed, like Ghost Foundry and KLAWT, which put coding agents to work with a human still holding the merge button.
I care about clean architecture, practical solutions, and software that makes life easier for the people using it.

How I work
A few things I hold to.
- 01
Ship the useful version.
A working tool in someone's hands beats a perfect one in a branch. I aim for the smallest thing that solves the real problem, then iterate with real feedback.
- 02
Keep the foundations boring.
Postgres, plain deploys, durable job queues. The novelty budget goes to the part users actually came for.
- 03
Automate, but keep a human on the big buttons.
Agents and automation should do the tedious work and show their evidence. Merging, paying, and publishing stay a deliberate human decision.
- 04
Own it end to end.
Product, frontend, backend, infrastructure, CI. I'm comfortable across the stack and happiest when I can see the whole system.
